Apparently, I do. This blog is 99.3% truth, .7% blatant lies.
Somewhere in between lies my perspective on life.

I Thought Smoking was Illegal in California?
Looks like the state's just puffin' away...
I have friends who live just a few miles from this - please spare good thoughts and prayers for their safety.
What's phenomenal is how much damage one cigarette can do. What's even MORE phenomenal is that sometimes investigators can track down who smoked the cigarette that started the wildfires!
I'm not sure how this one started though. My thoughts and prayers...
Isn't forensic science amazing? I'm not sure what started this one, either, but according to my friend, all's well in her area, the air's clear, and the fire appears to be well contained and under control. Huge changes in the last 24 hours!
I remember driving through an orangish haze and falling ash this summer, on our way to Lassen Volcanic National Park. I kept thinking, "We're camping out here? In the woods. With wildfires... Should we be doing this??" Apparently, those fires were about 40 miles from us, but when you can barely see the sun and the ash falling on the car looks like snow, it sort of drives home what living near regular forest fires must be like. It kind of made Houston heat and humidity look...pleasant.
For some reason, Holly, I've lost you in my "blogs I follow" tool. I was thinking it'd been forever since you updated. Don't know why it's not listing your new posts.
But what a treat for me to come by and have so many to catch up on!
Try changing the URL to http://hollyjahangiri.blogspot.com - I WAS publishing via ftp to my own domain, but I couldn't use some of the nifty features Blogspot reserves for it's "Layout" users, and I don't think it's possible to ftp those templates and gadgets to my own domain. So I just pointed http://blog.jahangiri.us over here. ;)

One of his Twits? *laugh* Sorry, but that hit me as funny because of what twit meant, at least in my younger years.
