Wonderful news!! They did send me a note and a coupon. The note was personal, expressed sympathy, promised they would look into the design and safety, and was enough, actually. The coupon had an expiration date, and expired before I thought to pick up any more. Oh well.

I once took a freelance assignment to write "reading passages" and related test questions for a company producing a practice SAT project. The editor had Not been nearly as clear as I thought about his expectations and rejected submission after submission (practice SAT reading passages can Not have a liberal political slant, even tangentially). The project dragged on for Weeks and weeks and I just could not seem to please the guy. I finally told them I was sick with a bad case of the flu and could not finish the project. He paid me 3/5 of the agreed amount and I resolved to be Very specific in negotiating future contracts. My worse case of writer's block ever.

Biggest problem I have with Wordpress are the updates to the core that aren't kept up fast enough by the people making plug-ins. I've had four times in one year I've had to edit themes.

Trust me, I tell all my clients to stick with Blogspot unless it's necessary to go self hosted. Personally, I like what you've done with the theme, you pull it off well.

I'm not trying to sell the thing. My pricing is quite accurate - for the one I bought, when I bought it. Am I wrong in thinking that the MODEL I BOUGHT cannot be used without the Web subscription? If that's the case, do tell me. I have no idea of getting hijacked into paying another monthly fee on top of the price of the unit.

That's an excellent idea. Not only to keep the bills reasonable, but to help your teen get some much needed sleep. I'd lock up the landlines, as well - and put a power-on password on the TV and the PCs, if necessary! Not to be mean - but all these gadgets can make us forget that humans aren't designed to be wired in 24/7. It's too addictive. We need sleep.
